Coin Express Hold and Win: Not a Particularly Exciting Slot to Play

Having played other Hold and Win slots from 3 Oaks Gaming, I was looking forward to playing Coin Express. However, the slot was quite disappointing for a few reasons that I’ll explain below.

The first was that despite having a 5x3 grid, there were just five paylines. The slot could have had any number up to 243, but the provider chose to give it a very small number of ways to win, which was surprising. This also made it quite hard to win.

I did earn a few decent payouts of 20x and 13x during my playthrough, but the vast majority of my base game spins produced no wins. I ended up with a hefty loss thanks to the lack of wins; the situation might have been better if there had been more paylines.

Then there was the Hold and Win feature, the slot’s highlight. I got to play this once, but only after over 150 spins of the reels. My payout from the respin round was 31x, which was better than nothing, but it was nowhere near enough to make me break even.

It’s safe to say that I didn’t enjoy playing Coin Express Hold and Win. I was hoping I wouldn’t end up losing as much money as I did. But still, sometimes this happens when playing online slots. 

I wouldn’t recommend playing Coin Express Hold and Win based on my experience. There are several other Hold and Win slots from 3 Oaks Gaming that are better, in my opinion, thanks to there being more paylines and the respin round triggering more often.
