DragonTiger: A Simple Card Game Suitable for Beginners

DragonTiger is an online version of the classic card game dragon tiger. All you do is bet on which of two sides (dragon or tiger) ends up with the highest-value card. There’s also the option to bet on a tie.

The gameplay is therefore very straightforward. In DragonTiger, you can bet on any number of outcomes and can vary your bet sizes as you wish. When I played it, I sometimes bet on one outcome and sometimes I tried two or even all three with different bet sizes.

I won quite often and lost on many turns too. The game’s payout rates were simple: I won 1:1 for winning with dragon or tiger, and 11:1 if I won on a tie. Unfortunately, I never won with a tie, so I didn’t get the game’s biggest payout.

One thing I liked about the game was its design features. A caller announced the result of each round, which was a nice touch, and the game looked like it was being played at a gaming table in a casino.

There was also a table displaying the most recent results. Previous results don’t matter, of course, because every outcome is unique, but some players like to look at past outcomes to help make their betting decisions, so it was good that this table was included.

DragonTiger isn’t the most exciting of online card games, though it’s a good entry point for people who aren’t used to casino games. Its rules are very easy to understand and the gameplay couldn’t be any more basic. It’s a great choice for beginners.
