We get a 6x5 scatter pays grid, where eight or more matching symbols anywhere on the board form a winning combination before disappearing to make room for cascading symbols. Symbol payouts range from 0.10x to 50x your bet, but bigger wins come from the multiplier reels sitting above the grid.

Every winning reel activates its multiplier, and cascades keep boosting them further. Even with fairly modest 2x to 3x reel multipliers, I was comfortably collecting 0.30x to 0.80x returns every 2 to 4 spins, while higher-paying symbols occasionally pushed that up to around 6x my bet.

Bullshark also deserves credit for making the bonus easier to reach than most scatter pays slots. Three scatters are enough to trigger the feature instead of the usual four, and after about half an hour, I finally had my prison break.

The bonus swaps the reels for a Hold & Win-style Escape Plan, giving you three respins that reset every time a new symbol lands.
