Multi Wilds: Slice Through Old-School Fruits With a Sudden Random Multiplier

Multi Wilds by DreamPlay goes for that old-school fruit slot feel, cherries, watermelons, lemons, sevens, bars, the whole familiar spread, just flipped slightly on its head. I gave it a fair run and this is what I have got in return.

This is a 3-reel, 3-row classic-style video slot. Diamonds act as wilds, and there’s a heavy focus on multipliers rather than fancy mechanics. What immediately bothered me was the lack of transparency. There’s no disclosed RTP and no stated volatility, which never sits well with me. After playing it, though, I figured it clearly leans toward high volatility.

In the base game, wins were slow to arrive. I was landing something roughly every seven to eight spins. Most of my payouts sat between 3x and 4x my bet, and then out of nowhere, the game dropped a 91x base-game win thanks to a 2x multiplier wild. That single hit did more work than the previous 30 spins combined.

Rockets act as scatter symbols here. Land three or more, and you trigger the bonus round with five free spins. With how volatile this game plays, I didn’t manage to trigger the bonus naturally even once in 100 spins. There is a bonus buy option, though, priced at 100x your bet. I used it. 

In the bonus round, wilds become sticky and come with random multipliers, and respins are possible if more scatters land. That decision paid off, my bought bonus game returned 234x my bet, which genuinely surprised me.

That’s the problem with Multi Wilds. It clearly has payout potential, even without cascades or complicated features, but it hides everything behind long dry spells and zero transparency. If the RTP and volatility were openly stated, I’d probably rate this higher. If you hate uncertainty and long stretches of nothing, this slot is not for you.
