Goddess of War: The Eternal Battle Between Good and Evil

Who would've thought slot games could help you learn something new and exciting? When I started the Goddess of War slot by Endorphina, I thought it was a classic Ancient Greek/Roman mythology-themed slot, but I was wrong. This is one of the rare titles based on Hindu mythology where Durga (goddess of war) and Mahisha (the devil) clash.

The guys (and girls) at Endorphina ensured we weren't disappointed with the graphics and sound. So, I really enjoyed the slow sounds resembling traditional Hindu music and the exciting effects when I hit winning patterns. The artwork was also great – elegant-looking reels and high-quality icons in memorable colors.

Another thing I noticed is that I couldn't change the number of paylines. So, there are 40 fixed paylines, which may be a problem for some players looking for slots to play with fewer active lines. The grid was classic – 5 reels with 3 rows each.

The abovementioned devil might be evil, but he allowed me to choose from several free spin options. So, landing three scatters on the middle three reels allowed me to choose from options offering more free spins and a lower win multiplier and vice versa. In any case, I had an opportunity to activate 7 to 28 free spins with x1 to x5 multipliers.

Of course, the expanding wild (the goddess herself) offering x2 and x3 multipliers also boosted my gaming experience because she helped me win several massive wins while playing this game.

If it wasn't for the fixed paylines, I would've given this slot 5 out of 5 stars. Still, it's a solid title that deserves attention.
