World of Emoji: A Lighthearted Ride That's More Fun Than Fortune

World of Emoji is definitely not your usual slot theme. Instead of ancient temples or mythical beasts, you’re greeted with laughing faces, hearts, sunglasses, and poop emojis. After spending about 90 minutes playing this game across two separate sessions, I came away entertained, but not overly impressed with its rewards.

I triggered the bonus round twice within my playtime, and both times it gave me 10 free spins. One of those bonuses paid just under 25x my stake, and the other gave me a surprising 58x win thanks to stacked Wilds. That second bonus hit relatively quickly, so I’d say the feature frequency is reasonable.

There are no complex features like multipliers, pick bonuses, or expanding reels. It’s a straightforward slot with low-to-medium volatility—so while wins may come more frequently, they’re usually on the smaller side. That said, with an RTP of over 96%, it theoretically offers better long-term returns than many others.

The soundtrack is quirky and fits the theme; it sounds like something from a mobile game, but not in a bad way. I actually kept it on the entire time, which is rare for me.
