It, of course, has a Native American theme, with the wolf being the wild and highest-paying symbol. Other useful icons are the two elders, a youthful lady, the eagle, and the sword. As is the case with many Eyecon games, this one doesn’t have any card symbols. Everything is designed to reflect the theme. 

I was pleased to learn that some of the icons pay out even if only 2 of them line up on the reels. The wild symbol is what you should look out for in this game. It comes around all the time and forms winning combinations with other icons. The dream catcher is the only symbol that is exempt from this wild action, but it instead triggers the free spins. 

In the bonus, you’ll be awarded 15 free spins. This feature was hard to trigger, and it’s best to just forget about it altogether. In theory, it can be retriggered 15 times. However, retriggering them even two more times is next to impossible in practice. If you’re lucky enough to get the free spins, you’ll be up for a good time as the rewards will be multiplied by 3. 

I found the gameplay a little bland, which was why I almost always used the auto-spins feature. There is no gamble feature to at least boost your winnings. It also lacks re-spins or dramatic animations. 

To sum up, Shaman’s Dream is a well-designed game with little substance. The artwork and choice of symbols over-impressed me. However, scoring free spins can be almost impossible. It’s even more disappointing that there are no other features to spice up the gameplay.
