Out in the far reaches of our galaxy aliens are starting to indavde in Funta Gaming’s Space War. This fish title brings simple mechanics, four powerful orbs with different attack patters, and wins up to 15,000x your bet. Here’s a look at al that the game offers and why you should give it a try. 

The game opens up to a pretty cluttered arena full of alien enemies to take out. To do that, you get a blaster with a standard gun turret, an auto-targeting turret, and a target-locked turret. There is no difficulty setting or charged ammunition you can use for extra bets, but then again, with so much happening on the screen, I never missed these features much.

Payouts start at 1x your bet, which is a bit low considering shooting down even the lower symbols takes two to three shots at the very least. This is why I’d recommend targeting medium symbols, which got me payouts between 5x to 10x my bet. The game includes one bonus where higher symbols drop, carrying over 1,000x prizes, and it happens more often than you might expect. During this feature, the screen flashes a red warning, and one of four power-ups can help you out.

I personally found the yellow power-up to be the most common, and it attacks all targets along a path. With these power-ups, I landed payouts between 10.30x to nearly 70x at times. I didn’t manage to take down any of the massive alien bosses, but those wins were nothing to scoff at and helped me not only maintain my bankroll but also walk away with a sweet profit on top. 

Space War by Funta Gaming keeps things simple and fun without compromising your chances of landing big wins. The features are enjoyable to trigger and show up often, while the core gameplay loop delivers steady payouts that hold up well during longer sessions. You don’t get the fancy screen transitions or new mechanics seen in many modern fish games, but in my opinion, that trade-off is worth it.
