The Desire of the Wild is a well-presented slot from FanTa Gaming that’s set in the North American wilderness and features a host of animals as symbols on the reels. There’s an atmospheric soundtrack, a beautifully designed background showing a scenic landscape, and plenty of detail in the graphics.

The gameplay was straightforward, with the only special feature being the free spins round. During my playthrough, this triggered a total of three times. The first time I played it, my win was a pretty decent 36x my bet. 

When the free spins round triggered again, I was expecting a payout close to the first one; possibly less, but hopefully. Believe it or not, I ended up winning a huge 2,295x thanks to the many sticky multiplier wilds there were. As if that wasn’t enough, the third and final time I played free spins, my total payout was even bigger at 2,410x. 

I couldn’t believe I’d scored not one, but two massive wins - it really was incredible. I must have just been ridiculously lucky because the chances of earning so much money from a free spins round are usually slim. I guess I owe a huge thanks to the sticky multiplier wilds!

On top of all that, there was a spin in the base game where I won 50x. This was very welcome indeed, especially considering it wasn’t because of a special feature. Having won so much, there’s no way I wouldn’t recommend The Desire of the Wild. Don’t expect to win as much as I did though; I could have just had a very lucky streak.
