Sugar Love Christmas Candies, as its name suggests, is a festive game with an array of sweet treats to behold. It’s a well-designed slot that does a good job of combining two common themes.

I found the gameplay to be enjoyable, thanks mainly to the cascades system. It meant that each winning spin gave me another chance to win. It had the added benefit of a 2x multiplier that appeared after a second consecutive cascade.

This then doubled with each cascade, resetting when no new wins were produced from a cascade. It was a great feature, though it didn’t help me win big. During the base game, despite cascades and multipliers, I never won above 5x my bet.

The one time I did win big was from the Sugar Meter Free Spins feature. The slot had a meter that filled as I collected winning symbols. Once full, I got three free spins with high-paying symbols replacing low-paying ones. 

My win from this was around 15x my bet, which was still an all right amount to win, but it wasn’t spectacular by any means. Then there was the main free spins round, which I paid 100x to play.

This had the enhancer of multipliers not resetting in between spins, giving me the chance to earn some potentially huge payouts. Despite this, my final earnings from the round were just over 3x my bet. 

I was very disappointed with this, especially since the cost of buying the round had been so high. The round had high win potential thanks to the multipliers; I was just very unlucky! If you play this slot, I’d think twice about buying free spins.
