There are many slots with the kingdom-style theme, but one of the most fun ones I’ve played is Cash of Kingdoms by Microgaming. The provider did well with the graphics in my opinion, mainly because the characters looked like something from a Disney animation. Still, the gameplay was my main focus since the visuals don’t pay out real money anyway.

As I launched the game, my first spin was a winning one, which I consider a warm welcome. With a $2.40 bet, I landed three chest scatter symbols, paying out $4.80. In no time, I also managed to trigger the free spins feature, where I hit one of my biggest wins of almost $30 and several smaller wins and activated one extra free spin.

You’d want to aim for the shield wild symbol for some medium-sized wins. Each time I hit three on a vertical line, the next reel became wild and paid a reasonable sum. Thankfully, it wasn’t too difficult to land this symbol, and sometimes they appeared back-to-back, which was a funny way to distract me from noticing my depleting bankroll.

Yet, this slot game has its challenges. The low variance, which means that while wins are frequent, they are often modest, is not my preference when selecting a game. This was slightly disappointing for me as I missed the thrill of substantial wins. Still, it is a very interactive game with delightful animation that holds your attention if you are a cartoon lover. And if you like some low-risk gaming sessions, then this is perfect for you.
