I gave Thunderstruck a try for nostalgia’s sake. The gameplay is straightforward, and the free spins with the x3 multiplier are decent. I managed to retrigger the feature once, ending with an x40 win. The graphics and sounds feel outdated, but it’s a nice option for low-stakes players.
this slot ain’t bad but it’s kinda meh by today’s standards. got a few free spins rounds, but the payouts were mostly under x10. the thor wild can double wins, which helps a bit. solid if ur just looking to play something easy, but don’t expect big thrills.

Thunderstruck is a Games Global slot that was released back in 2004 and remains popular to this day - it’s even spawned a sequel, Thunderstruck II, which came out in 2010. The slot’s inspired by Thor, the Norse God of Thunder, and comes with a few special features that will no doubt make you want to play.
How To Play The Thunderstruck Slot
First, you need to determine your bet size. The slot’s played with up to nine paylines. Keep hitting ‘SELECT LINES’ until the number of paylines you want your bet to cover is displayed. Do the same with ‘COINS’ - you can have one, two, three, four or five coins on each payline. Once you’ve done this, hit the plus and minus signs to adjust your bet multiplier. There are several options for this ranging from 1 to 100. The lowest amount of money you can bet with is 0.01, while the highest is 45.

- Norse Theme. Thunderstruck is based on the Norse god Thor, who’s associated with thunder, lightning and storms. He’s often depicted wielding a large hammer and is one of the more prominent deities in Norse mythology. You can tell by the slot’s graphics that it’s one of Games Global’s older releases, however, the thunder god theme is really nicely done and an all-time player favorite.
- 9 Paylines. Thunderstruck is played on a three-row, five-reel grid and uses up to nine paylines. All of them run from left to right. You win if enough matching symbols land on a payline that’s covered by your bet; these symbols have to be on adjacent reels starting with the one on the far left to count. Most symbols require three or more to pay out, while some of them pay out for two or more on a payline.
- Symbols. The slot has 11 standard symbols and two bonus ones. There are six card ranks (A-9), each of which is a smashed block of stone with the card rank on it in gold. Then there are several symbols associated with Thor, including a horn, a lightning bolt, a castle, Thor’s hand holding onto a sceptre and Thor’s hammer. The god himself is the wild, while the two purple rams are the scatter. The wild substitutes for all standard symbols and doubles all wins that it helps to form. It’s also the slot’s most valuable symbol, giving you a payout equal to 10,000x your bet per payline.
