Shogun’s Secret is set in feudal Japan and features symbols like scroll, temple, vase, and fan. In my gameplay, the temple was among the most frequently appearing symbols. This was quite encouraging, considering that it’s the scatter.    

Keep in mind that any time the wild (scroll) appeared on the reels, it expanded to cover the entire reel. This mechanism was quite impressive, especially since the scroll icon is able to replace other symbols to form winning combinations. It shouldn’t surprise you that this symbol was part of many of my winning combinations.

The free spins bonus was also quite lucrative in this slot. Not to mention that it was triggered quite frequently. With it, I mostly got 3 free spins, but these can go up to 12. And the cherry on top? During the free spins rounds, the scroll symbol will upgrade other icons to give you bigger wins. One problem I had with this feature is that it doesn’t have a multiplier. 

I also liked the gamble feature in the game. It’s available as a card game or ladder gamble. With each of these options, you can either double your winnings or lose everything. I found the card gamble game easier to play as it only involves picking a card suit. 

Remember that you can go through multiple gambling sessions. However, there’s a limit to the amount of money you can win with this feature. Something else to keep in mind is that you won’t be able to use the gamble feature when you activate the auto-play option.
