Dr Zappo: Zap Eyeballs Into Wild Multipliers For 10,000x Wins

Dr Zappo by Hacksaw Gaming puts you inside a bizarre science lab where eyeballs bounce around the reels and turn symbols into wild multipliers. You’ve got up to 200x wild multipliers, three Free Spins bonuses, and wins capped at 10,000x your bet.

The game uses a 5x4 grid with 14 paylines, while symbol pays range from 0.10x to 5x your bet. The 14 paylines were a problem because forming winning combinations felt difficult, and most of my returns stayed between 0.10x and 1x every 2 to 3 spins. Breaking past that barrier was no joke, although the right wild combination can change things quickly.

EyeBall symbols land on the bottom row and shoot across the grid, turning every symbol in their path into wilds and adding multipliers between 2x and 200x. They can also bounce off the Energy Fields or hit other EyeBalls to add more multipliers to the wilds. 

Once I got really lucky and landed 3 EyeBalls across the middle three reels, turning the entire three grids into wild multipliers ranging from 2x to 9x for a massive 198x payout. After that, I was curious to see what the bonus rounds could do.

I landed 3 scatters to trigger 10 Free Spins, where EyeBall symbols appear more often and extra scatters can add more spins. I saw plenty of EyeBall wilds on the first reel during the feature, but most of the wins stayed between 6x and 10x, leaving me with a total payout of 40.60x my bet.

Dr Zappo has one mechanic doing most of the heavy lifting, but when the EyeBalls line up properly, the results can be huge. The 198x hit made the base game worth sticking with, although the 14 paylines made getting regular wins harder than I'd like. The Free Spins didn't give me much after that big hit, so I'd say the wild multiplier mechanic is the main reason to try this one.
