Evil Eyes: Are You Brave Enough to Play This Horror Slot?

Hacksaw Gaming is known for being very creative when it comes to designing slots. Evil Eyes is an example of the provider’s best work. It’s a very well-presented horror game that has brilliant graphics and animations, a tense, atmospheric soundtrack, and gameplay that can be quite compelling. 

When playing Evil Eyes, I thought the base game was good enough, even though I didn’t land any significant wins. The slot had a 5x5 grid set in a mist-filled graveyard on an evening with a sinister cloaked character with antlers standing by the grid. It used the all-ways-win system, giving a total of 3,125 ways to win on every spin. The Evil Spread feature triggered several times; with this, winning combinations were extended whenever the Evil Eye symbol landed beneath a winning symbol.

I decided to buy two of the special features since it didn’t look like they were going to trigger on their own any time soon. First, I paid 200x to play The Graveyard, which was the slot’s free spins round and featured symbol removal. Any low-paying symbol affected by the Evil Spread would be removed, freeing up space for more valuable symbols to appear. One symbol was removed during my playthrough, though despite this I only ended up winning 110x my bet.

I paid for the Wicked Night feature twice. The first time, I won just 4x my bet and decided to buy it one more time to see if I would have better luck. Thankfully, I did, winning around 114x the second time. I liked Wicked Night because it combined the standard respin feature with the slot’s own Evil Eye mechanic.

Overall, I was very impressed by Evil Eye’s design and enjoyed its gameplay. I was disappointed to barely make any money from the first paid playthrough of Wicked Night, but that’s the way these things go sometimes.
