Limbo: How Big Will You Make the Multiplier?

Limbo from Hacksaw Gaming is a very straightforward game involving multipliers. When you play it, you set up a multiplier value. The game’s multiplier then starts increasing and stops at a random value. If this is bigger than the one you chose, you win and receive a payout equal to your bet multiplied by your chosen multiplier.

When playing Limbo, the multiplier you choose can range in value from 1.05x all the way up to 10,000x. Deciding to play it safe, I kept mine at around 1.5x to 5x, changing the size every so often to see how things would pan out. During my playthrough, I won many times but also lost quite often. Having said that, I was lucky enough to end up with a profit, finishing my run with a win of 15x my bet, which was great.

I enjoyed playing Limbo and liked how easy and potentially rewarding the gameplay was. The game lets the player make all the key decisions, so when you try it out, you’ll have to think carefully about how big you want the multiplier to be. The bigger it is, the higher the potential payout but the lower the chance of winning.

One thing I thought could be improved was the design of the game. Some crash games are very basic and stripped-back in their appearance, just like Limbo. However, I thought Limbo would have looked better if there had been some sort of theming, even just something very minimal. Even so, I still enjoyed playing it and would recommend it to anyone after a game where you have to make key decisions.
