Mountain of Zeus: An Innovative Slot Inspired by Greek Mythology

I always like playing an online slot that has unique gameplay and does something different from other games. Mountain of Zeus is a prime example. This slot from High 5 Games has a mechanic called Mega Pixel Pays, where there’s a grid made up of 2,400 dots. Symbols can land anywhere on the screen, and if they overlap the dots fully or partially, they charge the dots, changing their color and level. 

While I enjoyed playing Mountain of Zeus, I must admit it took me a while to get used to the new gameplay system. The paytable explained it all, of course, but I still needed to play the slot to fully understand everything. Having experienced it, I think the Mega Pixel Pays mechanic is great; it’s creative and makes the game more compelling and playable than regular slots.

Mega Pixel Pays also helped me win some decent amounts, the biggest of which was nearly 40x my bet. The slot had a free spins round that I was lucky enough to play; it gave me a win of around 31x, which I was pleased with.

There were two paid options: one that increases the likelihood of bonus symbols appearing and another that upgrades dot values. I tried the second one and did notice I was winning more often, so you might want to try it yourself.
