Dragon's Diamonds: Enter the Lair and Experience Cascades, Free Spins, and Multipliers

Dragon’s Diamonds is a well-designed online slot from Holle Games that takes place deep underground in a dragon’s lair. It has a 6x5 grid and uses the anywhere pays system, with eight or more matching symbols anywhere giving you a win. When I started playing the slot, I liked its design and thought its soundtrack was quite fitting.

I also liked the cascade mechanic, which meant that each win could create another one. Whenever there were at least eight identical symbols anywhere, they all vanished and symbols fell from above to fill all empty spaces. This was a cascade, and if it created new wins, another cascade would take place. 

On some spins, there were several cascades in a sequence, though because the symbol payouts were quite low I didn’t win too much.

My biggest payout came from the free spins round, which I decided to purchase for a cost of 100x my bet. It was going okay, but then there was one spin where multipliers gave my payout a serious boost, and this helped me win a total of 126x, giving me a nice profit of 26x. 

What was great about the free spins round was that each multiplier contributed to a global value that didn’t reset in between spins. This meant that there was the potential to have a very large multiplier in play as the round went on.

I enjoyed playing Dragon’s Diamonds and thought it was a solid release from Holle Games. The free spins round was a highlight, of course, thanks to the large amount of money I won from it. Having said that, the base game was still enjoyable because of its anywhere pays system and cascades.
