Chicken Royal: Follow the Famous Mascot to Another Chapter, and Win Up to 6,750x Your Bet

Anyone familiar with InOut Games has likely crossed paths with the studio’s famous chicken. But now for the first time in the studio’s history, the mascot takes a crack at a five-reel, three-row grid of Chicken Royal.

Behind the yellow caution tape, the grid looks down on a street corner where fire trucks and police cars top the paytable, food vans and hydrants hold the middle, and the chicken clucks her way through the royals. The garage doors on reels 2 through 4 are the Wilds, each one cracking open with a random x2 or x3 multiplier that stacks when two share a payline. 

Three golden sewer covers trigger Free Spins, and any Wild that lands during the round sticks to the grid and keeps its multiplier until the feature ends. All of it pointing toward a 6,750x ceiling.

The base game plucked a few feathers. Connections didn’t stray far from 0.2x or 0.4x, and the chicken crossed more empty roads than profitable ones. On the 10th spin, two Wilds with 3x and 2x landed on the same payline and pushed a food van line to 14.45x my wager, the first real sign of life on this street. One more, similar hit came later when sticky Wilds stacked to push the firetruck line further than I was used to.

Outside those two moments, for a game at 96.5% RTP, my session felt surprisingly tight. Connections were difficult to line up, and I mostly sat between the two previously mentioned hits, watching royal symbols do nothing.

Overall, I like the idea of InOut stepping outside crash games, and I like that their first slot keeps things simple.
