Inspired Gaming brought back its mischievous fox once again in Wolf it Up 3 Reeler, but this time shrunk everything down to a tiny three-reel, three-row setup. With apples carrying prizes worth up to 100x, jackpots climbing to 1,000x, and a 2,500x max win, I figured I'd spend some time chasing the fox before it ran off with my bankroll.

The little rascal didn't make things too difficult early on. I was collecting a payout every 3 to 4 spins, although most of them only returned around 1x to 2x my bet. The highlight of the base game came when a 20x Golden Apple landed beside a regular 1x Apple. The collector fox swept both values into my balance, handing me a neat 21x win.

That collector mechanic is easily the backbone of the game. Apples carrying values between 1x and 100x only become worth anything when a collect or bonus collect symbol joins them. I actually waited quite a while for the free spins to show up naturally, but they never did. 

Eventually, I gave in and switched on the fortune bet, paying 1.5x my stake for better wheel odds. Around 40 spins later, the feature finally landed, awarding 8 Free Spins. Four extra spins stretched my session, and I finished the bonus with 56x my bet. It wasn't great, but it certainly felt better than leaving empty-handed.

The game also has prize pot jackpots from 10x all the way to 1,000x, alongside bonus buys costing 40x for the prize wheel and 55x for free spins. Personally, I left both alone. Buying bonuses has never really been my thing, especially when there's no guarantee they'll actually pay for themselves.

After spending a decent amount of time with Wolf It Up 3 Reeler, I couldn't help feeling that it lost some of the charm of the earlier games. Throw in the 94.50% RTP and a comparatively low 2,500x max win, and I'd probably revisit one of the better Wolf It Up games before coming back to this one.
