Zeus Legends of Olympus: A Strike of Lightning That Boosts Your Wins

Who doesn't love another Greek gods-themed slot? Well, you found one of the few guys who doesn't really dig them. While the gameplay is a whole different discussion, Inspired's Zeus Legends of Olympus didn't "spark" anything in me, graphics-wise. 

This game, with a 5x3 grid and 20 paylines, has the usual features of an Inspired game. From wilds, gamble and fortune features, to the bonus Hold and Win game and bonus buys. 

Based on my previous experience with Inspired's Hold and Win games, the story stays similar to the canon. What I mean by this is that the base game was fruitful, with wins ranging from x0.40 and x2, to even x22.20 with the help of the wilds, and of the gamble feature. Also, I managed to trigger the bonus round a few times.

The Hold and Win feature was triggered by landing one of the coloured jewels on the grid. My first run in the bonus game was contoured by the golden jewel, which gave me the Zeus boost, which literally boosts the cash prizes with different multipliers, and the pot fill jewel, which lands jackpot coins on the board. That run ended in a x60.5 win, after managing to get the minor x20 jackpot win, which was pretty neat, as it came only after around 30 spins. 

However, after 150 spins, I realized that the hype received in the early stages of my gameplay was somehow in vain - the wins were not coming often as before. Maybe my expectations were a bit too high for a 94.5% below-average RTP game. 

Of course, you can use the bonus buy option, which features 2 types of games: the mystery bonus, with a x60 price, and the triple bonus, with a x100 price. 

Having all of this in mind, the Zeus Legends of Olympus slot provided the usual gameplay from an Inspired game - base game wins, bonus game triggers, but a low payout considering the times I've bet.
