Buffalo Run: The Ground Is Shaking From All the Wild Stomps

On one hand, the slot was released some time ago, so I cannot judge it by the modern standards, but on the other hand, I’ve seen many others from its time period that managed to look and play a bit better than this one. I like to give each slot I play a chance, so let me tell you about my experience with Buffalo Run.

First off, the visuals. The symbol design matches the slot’s theme well enough, but there are some aspects like the animations, which lack a bit of depth and make the slot feel unpolished. In terms of graphics, it’s certainly not my favorite slot, but it doesn’t look half bad. Now, because the audio plays a big role in creating a nice atmosphere, it’s important to have a good sound design, but unfortunately, I think Buffalo Run missed the memo, and incorporated some old school sound effects that don't suit the theme of the game at all, so I’m obligated to take away some points in this department.

When it comes to special features, I was happy to encounter both a gamble feature, as well as free spins, with the added chance of retriggering them. Combining that with the intuitive interface and ease of play, the general experience was decent enough for me that I can recommend giving the slot a chance. My only advice would be to start small in terms of bet values, and test the slot out for a bit, to see what you can expect out of it, because my time with Buffalo Run wasn’t as profitable as I would have hoped.

There’s one more special thing to say about this, and that’s the Super Jackpot feature, that basically works similarly with other slots, where any jackpot level can be randomly awarded on any paid spin. Personally, I think that getting the highest jackpot requires immense luck, so don’t count on it. Other than that, remember to play responsibly and have fun.
