Chinese philosophy puts a ton of emphasis on balance and Intervision Gaming’s Yin Yang is themed around that very concept. You get 243 paylines, a double-up feature to boost your wins further, and a three-tier jackpot feature going all the way up to 1,100x your bet! 

Standard gameplay of the slot revolves around a 5x3 grid connected by 243 paylines which makes landing wins a breeze. I was getting between 0.40x to 1.60x returns on my bet every couple of spins or so which is where two glaring issues of the game popped up to me. 

The first issue I have is that 7 out of the 8 paying symbols in this slot have payouts less than 2x your bet even for 5 matching symbols. To add to this, I couldn’t find where the double-up bonus was until I significantly buffed up my bet at which point I learned that it is activated randomly. 

This ultimately made the base game which was poised to be a highly profitable game drain my bankroll slowly and consistently until I went over 10x my bet amount. After that, I saw the dragon link feature which randomly drops the highest-paying dragon symbols all over the reels. This feature got me the biggest win of the game coming in at a solid 200x my bet! 

Coming to the 3-level Jackpot Link feature, it is activated at random and can award a minor, major, or super jackpot. Each bet you make contributes a small percentage of itself to the jackpot up to its maximum value and the greater you bet the higher a chance you have of winning the jackpot feature. 

After testing the game at its max bet, the highest jackpot I ever got was worth $114.72 which was an impressive win but at the same time, I won’t recommend realistically putting $100 per spin in the game to anybody. 

Intervision’s Yin Yang slot might not have made the cut for my tastes but it still has some incredible moments in it with big wins and high stakes. If that interests you, I’d recommend giving the free demo above a try and getting a feel for the gameplay.
