Shogun Skylord: Duel the Shogun's Avian Samurai Corps for up to 10,000x Wins

A Sky Temple atop mountains forms the backdrop of the Shogun Skylord slot. The Just Slots team went all out with volumetric fog, a bright color palette, and an isolated theme. What I was not expecting were Shogun’s warriors including chickens, parrots, and other birds standing in the way of up to 100x progressive expanding wild multipliers and free spins. Here’s how I tackled them. 

It’s a 5x6 grid with 40 paylines, and the base game moves at a steady pace. I was getting wins every few spins, mostly between 0.30x to 1.60x my bet every two to three spins. Symbols often land in clusters which makes bigger combos possible but way less likely from what I saw. 

Expanding wilds are supposed to carry the game, stretching across reels with 2x to 100x multipliers that stack when they connect. In my session, they kept landing on the first and fourth reels, which sounds fine until you realise they rarely connect across enough reels to matter. Even with multipliers in play, most returns sat around 0.80x to 1x my bet.

Three scatters got me into free spins with 10 rounds. Here, every expanding wild adds its multiplier to the reel it lands on, so the idea is to stack them and let the reels snowball. That didn’t really happen. The multipliers showed up, but not in a way that built into anything meaningful. The entire feature wrapped up at 44.90x.

That’s the pattern here. The game keeps showing you multipliers, but rarely in positions where they combine into something worth caring about. When everything lines up, it probably hits hard, but most of the time it just hovers around small returns.

The Shogun Skylord slot makes for a beautiful lsot to unwind with but the mechanics and features made the gameplay far too variable than I’d like. He base game relies completely on expanding wilds to pull in anything above 7.50x your bet and the very same feature doesn’t stick to the reels during free spins. If I were you, I’d stick to the Shogun Skylord demo for now.
