Sow underwater chaos in Golden Strike by KA Gaming in this new fish-style shooter with freeze mechanics, hidden fish explosions, ammunition upgrades, and high random payouts, up to 500x your bet.
This fishing game has four player slots for multiplayer, each one having a cannon that lets you shoot different types of fish. With multipliers from 2x up to 50x your bet for the basic fish symbols. The game also features special fish symbols with multipliers up to 500x, as well as the Mido and Glacia fish, which trigger hidden fish chain explosions or freeze everything on the screen for a period of time.
Your cannon can be upgraded with the powerful bullet, which increases the damage to any symbol, at the cost of 6x your bet, the target lock, and the automatic shooting.
Personally, I thought the core gameplay loop made this shooter feel highly volatile, as popping fish took too many bullets. Without the gun upgrade, popping even the lower symbols was not easy for the smaller 2x to 20x wins.
After some time, I realized that a good feature was the target lock, because it allowed me to focus on only one type of fish, and I managed to score a few nice 50x wins.
After a while, I began using the powerful bullets and target lock feature to start chasing bigger fish. Even though the wins got notably higher, getting chain events and shredding the fish for some 160x, my wallet was getting notably red.
The game allows you to pick from three different rooms, with higher chances, but an increased minimum bet. I have tried all of them, but the outcome was the same.
Overall, I had fun playing this arcade fishing game. It has plenty of features and upgrades you can buy, but the reality is that the payout wasn't great, reaching only a 160x maximum win during my gameplay.
