Mummy Madness: A Solid Egyptian Slot with a Unique Respin Feature

When I started playing Mummy Madness, I liked the slot’s design and thought the graphics and animations were great. The soundtrack, which combined creepy music with the sounds of snakes and water leaks, enhanced the immersion further.

The slot’s gameplay was quite good on the whole. The grid was 5x3 in size and the all-ways-win system was in play, meaning there were 243 ways to win on every spin. The highlight, of course, was the respin feature.

I got to play this once and won 17x my bet from it. This payout wasn’t massive by any means, but at least I earned it without having to buy the round. What I liked about the respin round was that it worked differently from others.

Once each row had a symbol on it, cash prizes on the same row were combined, then moved to the leftmost unlocked reel, which was then locked. This gave the round quite high win potential since room was made for additional cash prize symbols to land.

This was called the Repeat feature and whenever it launched, the number of respins reset to three. I thought it was a good addition to the respin feature, even though it didn’t exactly help me win a large cash payout.

The base game was all right. Even though every possible payline across the reels was always active, I didn’t manage to win any significant payouts. The most I won was around 4x my bet; a lot of my other wins were around the size of my bet or smaller.

Mummy Madness has a lot going for it. I liked the presentation and thought the theming was well done. If you’re after an Egyptian slot with a unique feature, this one is worth a shot. Just bear in mind it can be quite tricky to get the big wins coming in.
