Wild Spirit Deluxe: Great Visuals, Boring Gameplay

When Wild Spirit Deluxe loaded, I thought it looked great. The North American wilderness theme was well presented through the slot’s detailed, high-quality graphics and animations. The atmospheric soundtrack added to the immersion, too.

The gameplay, however, was lacking. The problem was that I hardly ever won in the base game, and there was nothing else going on. This made the gameplay quite monotonous.

Slots are repetitive by their nature, but it helps when there’s a base game enhancer or bonus round of some kind to make the gameplay different. With Wild Spirit Deluxe, there was nothing to make the base game more enjoyable since wins were infrequent.

There was a free spins round, but this didn’t trigger on its own. I landed just two scatters on several spins, though I never got the third needed to launch the feature. Thankfully, there was the option to purchase it for 56x my bet.

Even though the free spins round had a 3x multiplier that applied to all payouts, just like in the base game, wins were rare. I bought the feature twice and the first time, my payout was just over 16x from one win. The second time, I won 24x from two wins.

I thought the free spins round would be a lot more rewarding than it was. Luck played its part, of course, but I was hoping that after two purchases, I would have at least earned enough money to cover the cost of one purchase.

Ultimately, I didn’t enjoy playing Wild Spirit Deluxe. There wasn’t enough going on in the base game to make it enjoyable and buying free spins was a waste of money. If you decide to play, hopefully you’ll have better luck than me.
