Duck Hunters: Take Down Ducks Armed With Rifles For up to 30,000x Wins

Duck Hunters by Nolimit City proves there are only two things Bubba loves, cold Dud Light and shooting anything with feathers. This duck-hunting expedition brings multipliers that can climb to 8,192x, while bombs, Infectious xWays, and three different bonus rounds push wins up to 30,000x your bet. 

The game uses a 6x5 scatter-pays grid, so landing 8 or more matching symbols anywhere counts as a win. Every winning group disappears to let fresh symbols cascade into place for another shot at a payout. To balance that, symbol values are fairly modest, paying from 0.10x for eight “Dud Light” cans up to 5x for 12 or more bandana-wearing cigar-smoking hunters. 

Despite Nolimit City's reputation, I actually found the hit rate surprisingly forgiving inside this slot. Winning combinations showed up every two to four spins, usually paying between 0.15x and 2.20x my bet. Once four or more cascades kicked in, the position multipliers quickly climbed to 4x and 8x, turning even tiny wins into 6.50x to 8.40x returns.

xWays transform into a random paying symbol while expanding to cover multiple positions, with Infectious xWays converting every matching symbol on the grid into the same oversized symbol. They were fairly rare during my session, but the Bomb feature more than made up for it. Bombs regularly landed, blowing up a 3x3 area around themselves before the next cascade, clearing space for new symbols and extending winning chains. 

Three scatters summoned Bubba and his pickup truck for seven duck hunt spins, where all position multipliers stay locked in place throughout the feature instead of resetting after every spin. My upgrade wheel landed on Extra +2 Shots, and the bonus started raking in multipliers. By the end of the opening spin, I already had 2x to 8x multipliers scattered across the grid, and because they carried between spins, the rest of the bonus simply kept stacking them higher up to an 82.80x payout. 

Duck Hunters feels like one of Nolimit City's more approachable releases. The base game isn't nearly as punishing as some of the studio's other slots, while the persistent multiplier bonus gives you a genuine reason to look forward to landing those three scatters. Plus, if you’ve played gator hunters or any other hunting releases, this time we ain’t shooting defenseless animals, these ducks are packing varmint rifles of their own!
