Buffalo Coin Rush is Wildly Fun… Until It Isn't

The first few spins on Buffalo Coin Rush had me hooked. The reels looked clean, the buffalo symbol gleamed in gold, and that glowing coin stack in the background made me feel like something big was always just around the corner. But after the initial excitement, I started to notice that the rhythm of the game didn’t hold up.

I played for just over an hour and only triggered the Hold and Win feature once, after about 45 spins. When it finally landed, I got five sticky coins to start with and saw the classic reset-to-three mechanic in play. At first, it felt like the buildup was working. Coins landed, the counter reset, and I thought I was climbing toward something big. 

But when it ended, the total win felt flat. It wasn’t terrible, but definitely not as rewarding as the visuals and tension had led me to expect.

Outside of that bonus, the base game doesn’t offer much. Small coin hits here and there, but nothing that really pushes the pace. After a while, I found myself tapping the spin button more out of habit than excitement. The animations were smooth, but I did notice occasional delays when coins landed like a slight hitch between the spin result and the win display.

Audio was forgettable. The light wilderness soundtrack blended into the background, and I wouldn’t have noticed if it went silent. That might be fine for casual play, but it left the session feeling a little too quiet.

If you want to stretch your balance, lower your bet and wait for the Hold and Win feature. Don’t chase it too hard as it can take a while to trigger.
