After diving into Shark Spin, which is a 5-reel 3-row slot, I must say the game's approach is refreshingly straightforward, centering around its Wild and Scatter symbols mostly.

This simplicity is a breath of fresh air in a sea of complex slot games with sophisticated mechanics. With its 10 fixed pay lines, the setup is easy to grasp: spin the reels and hope for the regular and special symbols, such as Wilds and Scatters, to show up.

I did just that. During the first few spins in the base game, my bets returned up to 7 times their value, which felt like a good start. 

The Great White Wild symbol, which appears on reels 2, 3, or 4, expands to cover entire reels. Whenever the wild appeared, it also triggered a respin, which locked the Wild in place and spun the other reels. 

The Wild symbol was a regular visitor during my gameplay, and I saw it gracing the reels every 2-3 minutes. On one instance, where several K symbols lined up with the Wild, it helped me win almost 22x my bet.

I was extremely delighted when two Wilds appeared on adjacent reels consecutively, pushing my win to over 43 times my bet. You can get up to three respins if you are lucky. I didn't, but the possibility kept me on the edge.
The Neptune's Horn is the game's Scatter. It shows up on the same reels as the Wilds. If you land three of the Scatter symbols on the middle reels, it activates the Free Spins mode. I had to keep spinning reels for about 20 minutes to unlock the free spins for the first time.

As the Scatter appeared on reels 2,3, and 4, it awarded me with 10 free spins. Although the free spins couldn't be retriggered—a feature I found limiting—they still offered a chance for respins when Wilds appeared, just like in the base game. 

During the free spins, I managed to get Wild respins twice.

The aquatic theme of the slot, with its uncomplicated design, made for an easy and enjoyable session overall.
While I relished the simplicity of the game and the excitement of the expanding Wilds, I badly missed the retriggerable Free Spins.
