Combo Seven Slot Review & Free Play

Combo Seven: Gather Matching Sevens For up to 1,000x Jackpots

Onlyplay's Combo Seven keeps things about as simple as they get, with a 3x3 grid covered entirely by different colored 7s. The three highest-paying symbols can also trigger fixed jackpots when they fill the entire grid, with the orange 7 offering up to 1,000x your bet. Add 10 free spins to the mix and you've got pretty much everything this compact slot has to offer.

The 3x3 grid comes with five paylines, while symbol pays range from 0.50x to 50x your bet. Wins on multiple lines are paid, and the simple colors and vector-inspired artwork actually worked pretty well for me, giving the game a chill late-night scroller vibe.

Wins formed every three to five spins and surprisingly enough, they usually paid between 2x and 8x my bet. Blue and green 7s seemed most abundant during my session, although I kept a close eye on the top three symbols. Fill the entire grid with green 7s and you get the 25x Mini jackpot, red 7s bring the 100x Major, while orange 7s can award the 1,000x Grand.

I wasn't able to fill the grid with any of the jackpot symbols, but eventually landed three Scatters to trigger 10 free spins. The bonus doesn't add any extra features, so it's essentially the same game with another 10 spins to form winning combinations. My returns usually stayed between 15x and 22x during the feature, with no retrigger to extend the round.

Combo Seven is a pretty decent little slot if you want something uncomplicated, and I actually enjoyed its colorful presentation more than I expected. The fixed jackpots give you something worthwhile to chase in the base game, although the free spins could have used an extra feature to make them feel more substantial.
