As opposed to fruit slots that chase complexity through additional features, Platipus Gaming stripped it all down with Joker Bling to just the Joker Wild, a Scatter, and an Extra Scatter. If you ask me, that is more than enough for a good session.

For a good stretch, I had to work with two to three combined fruits that formed 1x to 2x returns in the base game, and I wouldn’t mind if those wins rolled in more often.

The first and the only win outside that frame came through a Jester that showed up on reel two, expanded across the whole thing, and helped a seven-line reach 5x my bet.

I met Scatter around the 25th spin. Actually, I met four of them. The total was 20x the bet, so the proposed 96% RTP and high volatility started to make sense, but not for long, since the Joker wasn’t friendly, and without all the features and fruits working together, my session was slowly coming to an end.

The nice addition to it all would have been the Extra Scatter on reels one, three, or five, but two out of three was all I got.

Between the expanding Wild on reels two through four and the Scatter paying up to 100x for five, the 5,000x ceiling felt reachable without needing a bonus round to get there.

Overall, Joker Bling is a good choice for beginners and those who want to chill and spin without needing to read the paytable for ten minutes before clicking their first go.
