Book of Gold is set in an Ancient Egyptian tomb, with sculptures holding up fire torches on the sides of the reels. It pays out just as much as the symbol of an Egyptian queen whom I couldn’t identify. There is also an eye of Horus symbol, as well as a priest’s wand. 

The Ancient Egyptian theme is definitely not original (maybe even overused). However, I still liked the sharp graphics and artwork.

The eerie music playing in the background sets the mood for the game. It could easily be used in a history documentary.

So, what else does Book of Gold have to offer? Unfortunately, nothing. The game doesn’t have a special bonus game or gamble feature. You’ll also be disappointed in the lack of a wild feature. 

Overall, I would say that Book of Gold is designed with sharp artwork and nice graphics. You won’t get a lot of action in the game. Even the free spins are triggered extremely rarely. I still liked how the free spins come with 2 expanding wilds, which can be lucrative.
