Halloween Fortune: Brew up Potions With Magical Witches for Free Spins With up to 10x Multipliers

Spooky witches, eerie ravens, and glowing potions have taken over an abandoned house in Playtech’s Halloween Fortune. With up to 20 free spins, 10x multipliers, and 1,000x wild payouts on the line, it sounds tempting to step inside. But after my experience, I’d say it’s not all it’s cracked up to be. Let me tell you why this house of horrors might not be worth your time. 

For a game released in 2011, I was pleasantly surprised by the graphics and atmosphere Halloween Fortune created across its 5x3 grid. I had all 20 paylines active, with a slightly higher bet per line to see how far I could push my wins. Unfortunately, I was only hitting wins between 0.25x and 1.25x my bet, and those came around every 2 to 4 spins on average. 

This marked the start of a steady decline in my bankroll. While a few wins brought me up to 2.75x returns, they were too infrequent to make a real difference. My losses kept piling up, and I was left relying on the bonus game as my last shot at turning things around. Triggering the bonus wasn’t going to be easy though, these symbols are hard to land leading to a bonus pick game. 

I was given the chance to pick between 3 different witches when I triggered the bonus which would decide how many free spins I got. Even though the free spins could be re-triggered, I wasn’t lucky enough to extend them. The bonus round ended quickly, leaving me with a small 12.50x win over my bet. Safe to say waiting for the free spins didn’t help me at all. 

Honestly, I really wanted to enjoy Halloween Fortune by Playtech. The theme and symbol design are great, making it a fun choice for the holiday season. However, the lack of big win potential and features that could help recover losses left me disappointed. I wouldn’t recommend playing this game, and I’d suggest opting for a newer slot with better rewards.
