Mayan Destiny: Let the Wheel Decide Your Fate on The Way to a 10,000x Top Prize

Pocket Games Soft puts a Mayan high priestess as your guide through the ruins of Mayan Destiny. Their usual 3x3 grid hides ancient items like glowing cauldrons and wrapped obsidian, with the priestess herself at the top of the paytable, and the biggest of riches being a 10,000x reward.

Feature-wise, the wheels are the ones who call the shots here. In the base game, they can either multiply up to 5x or open a bonus game (also a wheel) where individual tiles can pay as much as 1,000x your bet. 

My base game was framed by 0.8x to 5x returns that connected every two to seven spins. The standouts came from the highest-paying symbol, the priestess, who pays up to 100x for a full line of three. My strongest hit from her was 20x my bet.

Since the whole slot really hinges on the prize wheel, let's get into how it works.

The wheel symbol can land on any reel during the base game. When it does, it spins on the spot and reveals either a 1x, 2x, or 5x payout, or a bonus result that opens the bonus round. In my playthrough, the wheels showed up every 20 spins or so, but they tended to have lower multipliers. The highest payout was 10x my bet from two wheels landing together.

I never made it into the bonus round. The only way in is the bonus tile on the small wheel itself, so that's a really narrow door.

Ancient civilization themes aren't fresh anymore, but they always work for me, especially when they look as good as Mayan Destiny does. The only real downside on an otherwise solid session is that you'll likely need more than 200 spins to see the bonus game. That isn't a problem with a strong base game underneath, but it's still a far stretch.
