Chicken Plus: Survive a Road Full of Trucks, Cars, and Tanks for up to 3,138,009x Wins
Snehal Gupta rated this game:
4 out of 5
It might look like another Chicken Road clone at first glance, but as the name suggests, Chicken Plus from Pragmatic Play is exactly that, a plus version with a super cute retro pixel art style and a much wider risk range. With up to 3,138,009x your bet on the line and multiple difficulty modes, this one turns a simple crossing game into something far more flexible.
There are no reels here, just a road filled with lanes where cars, trucks, and the occasional tank pass through. You guide a chicken forward one lane at a time, and each successful crossing increases your multiplier. At any point, you can cash out, but if you get hit even once, the entire round is lost.
The game offers four risk modes, but I spent most of my time on medium difficulty, which felt like the most balanced option. Hard mode felt too punishing early on, where getting knocked out in the first few lanes didn’t justify the jump in multipliers. Medium, on the other hand, lets you build into your runs.
Just getting through five lanes consistently pushed me close to 2x returns, which is far more achievable than trying to chase massive multipliers in harder modes. During my session, I was regularly cashing out between 1.43x and 2.71x, which was enough to keep my bankroll in the green without taking unnecessary risks.
Easy mode stretches things out with more lanes and slower growth, while Daredevil mode goes in the opposite direction with fewer lanes but absurd multipliers that climb into thousands and beyond. The theoretical max win here is ridiculous, but realistically, this game is about knowing when to stop rather than trying to reach the end.
Chicken Plus does not try to reinvent the formula completely, but it refines it in a way that actually makes it more enjoyable to play. The pixel art style hooked me in immediately, and honestly, it feels like what a place like Zuzu City could look like in Stardew Valley if it had a small arcade tucked somewhere inside.
- Multiple difficulty modes
- Retro pixel art style
- Flexible risk control
- Up to 3,138,009x max win
- Higher risk modes feel too punishing

Medium difficulty has the best mechanics for consistent hits. Cashed out near 2x often, but the payout structure on hard feels too punishing. Great pixel art, though gameplay gets repetitive fast.
Had a decent session avoiding trucks. The retro look is cool, but wins like this $12.60 on a $10 bet feel tiny. It’s okay for a casual vibe, just don't expect big energy.
