This is a six-reel, four-row slot with up to 4,096 ways to win, and yes, it can stretch much higher once hot zones start stacking. The RTP sits at 96.39%, with medium volatility, which felt accurate during my session. 

In the base game, my wins mostly floated between 0.50x and 2x my bet, and they weren’t coming every spin. Cascades helped keep things moving, but getting three consecutive cascades to fill the meter wasn’t as easy as it sounds. 

The cascade meter is where the game either wakes up or stays quiet. After three consecutive wins, it randomly triggered features like extra wilds, hot zones, multipliers, or even pushed me closer to free spins. I landed extra wilds a couple of times, which helped me to secure 42x my bet that round.

The hot zones deserve special mention. When they land, symbols inside them split into two, increasing the win ways fast. On paper, it sounds interesting and impactful, but you really need them to stack across multiple reels to feel the impact. I won 12x my bet that round.

I eventually triggered the free spins round, starting with 8 spins. Reels 2 and 5 were fully covered with Hot Zones, which helped immediately. The cascade meter stays active here and expands to five levels. I managed to trigger it a few times and even landed a 10x multiplier, which saved the round. Overall return was a hefty 112x my bet that round.

There’s also a bonus buy option. I tried it once for 70x my bet, and while it did speed things up, the result wasn’t wildly better than my natural trigger. As I won 110x my bet. Overall, Tarot Treasures looks great and has strong mechanics, but it needs patience. 

I would’ve rated it higher if triggering the cascade meter felt a little less stubborn in the base game. If you enjoy feature-stacking slots and don’t mind waiting for things to click, this one’s worth a shot. If you expect fireworks every spin, the cards might not fall your way.
