The main game may look like an unassuming 5x3 grid with 25 pay lines at first glance but it also comes with cascading reels which removes winning combinations to make room for extra symbols and higher wins. Symbol pays are quite decent in the slot and I found that winning combinations took anywhere from 2 to 5 spins to land. 

Most symbol combinations got me between 0.32x to 1.6x returns on average with a few high symbols and wilds pushing it up to 4.24x returns in my case. The base game is also assisted by stacked wild reels and pinata symbols which randomly transform up to 14 symbols on the reels. Although a neat addition with decent profitability potential, I didn’t manage to make any major returns through them. 

There are two different bonus features in the game and both of them have the potential to make big wins. The first, the Jalapeno minigame, activates by filling a progress bar that increases with each non-winning spin. Once triggered, you're taken to a hold-and-win game where you start with three spins, but can reset this count by landing additional symbols. This round is spiced up by red peppers that carry multipliers, enhancing your potential wins significantly.

On the other hand, the free spins bonus game can be triggered by landing 5 symbol combinations on the same spin. This is much harder to do but also gets you up to 24 free spins and up to 50x multipliers. Out of these two, I found the Jalapeno mini-game was not only more profitable but also easier to access than the free spins bonus game, getting me a 31x win. 

All this to say that the Burning Chilli slot game had some fiery potential but I wasn’t able to see the big wins this slot has clearly in store for players. I would recommend only playing the demo above for free and not going after the game in real online casinos.
