Aztec Tribute: Search the Ancient Aztec Temple for 20,000x Riches

The Mayans may be long gone, but Red Tiger Gaming has now placed the Aztecs under the spotlight with Aztec Tribute. The 20,000x max win alone was enough to grab my attention. But once I saw progressive wild multipliers climbing up to 320x, jumping into this ancient temple became an easy decision.

This is a five-reel setup with a 1-3-5-5-5 layout, guarded by two towering Aztec Gods standing above the reels. During my session, I was landing wins roughly every 4 to 5 spins, with average returns sitting between 2x and 4x my bet. Thanks to those climbing sticky wilds, I managed to hit several 8x and 10x payouts, while my highest base game win reached 32x my bet.

Wilds only appear on the bottom position of the middle reel. If they help create a winning combination, they remain sticky and climb upward. They continue their multiplier from 3x to 5x, then 10x, 20x, 40x, and even higher if the winning streak continues.

One dead spin resets everything unless you have a saved “Magic Life,” which protects the multiplier through one additional losing spin. Eventually, once the wild climbs high enough, the game forces you to choose between two Aztec Gods.

One God transforms symbols on reels 1 and 2 into triplets, increasing the ways to win while adding a fixed 5x multiplier. The other God continuously doubles the multiplier after every winning spin.
It took me nearly 100 spins to trigger the bonus round with 10 free spins. I selected the triplet God and walked away with a 58x return. Considering how explosive the mechanics can theoretically become, I expected much more from the feature.

Landing four scatters upgrades the feature into Super Spins, where both Gods activate together. Since I could not trigger it naturally, I eventually went for the Super Bonus Buy option, costing 300x my bet.

During the feature, the multiplier climbed all the way to 40x, and I finished the round with a massive 765x return. That was the exact moment when the slot finally revealed its true potential.

For me, Aztec Tribute ticks almost every box players usually look for in a well-designed slot. I am returning to this Red Tiger Gaming creation whenever I feel like hunting for hidden Aztec treasure again.
