Red Diamond takes us back to the classics. The game has a single payline and is designed to look like a slot machine that’s placed on a bar table. If you’ve played Emerald Diamond, you’ll instantly notice lots of similarities between the two games. In fact, almost everything apart from the red diamond is the same. 

Let’s start by looking at the theme of the game. It may appear to be a diamond-based slot, but everything simply points to the classic fruits theme. The cherry, BAR, lucky 7, and ANY BAR symbols are all present in this game. Almost the entire screen is covered in red. 

I liked the soundtrack in this game as well. It's quite fitting for a simple classic slot. To remind you that you’re in a bar, the soundtrack features the noises typically made in watering holes. 

I was disappointed that this slot doesn’t have a bonus or free spins feature. But this seems to be in line with the goals of the developer. Instead, I had to hold my breath and hope to land one of the diamond symbols (red, blue, or emerald). 

All 3 diamond symbols are wild, so they’ll fill in for any of the other symbols (except other diamonds). They also stay locked on the reels for a re-spin. This happened quite frequently and helped to improve the rather monotonous gameplay. 

And that’s not all! I must mention that the winning combinations that include the emerald diamond get a 2X multiplier. This is raised to 3X when the red diamond is involved. Therefore, this game is potentially lucrative.

Overall, I liked the design and presentation of this game. It is meant to be extremely simple and achieves this goal. The soundtrack is also perfect for the theme. However, I still found the gameplay stale as exciting events are rare in the game. Big wins almost never come around.
