Electro Goals: A Shockingly Good Football Slot That's Well Worth a Spin

I have to say that I quite enjoyed playing Electro Goals. As the slot’s name suggests, it’s themed to football and has a sort of electric twist. The visuals are detailed and the soundtrack mixes a pleasant piece of music with the sounds of a typical football stadium.

The gameplay was pretty good overall. The reels were set within golden goalposts, with a 3x3 grid of regular symbols, and two other reels that special symbols could appear on. These included golden stopwatches that increased payouts on reel 4 and both multipliers and respin symbols on reel 5. Whenever I won, any active special symbols on the last two reels would have their effects take place.

During my playthrough, I won quite ofte,n so I was able to see the special symbols in action. Some of my wins got boosted and I got to play the respin round a few times. My biggest respin win was 12.5x, which was decent though nothing spectacular.

Having said that, I did earn some better payouts from the base game: 26x and 14x. These came about thanks to gold stopwatches increasing the wins and multipliers, giving them an even bigger boost.

Electro Goals was a pretty good low-volatility slot. I liked the way it looked and thought its features were appealing. The number of paylines was on the low side, I thought. With a 3x3 set-up, there could have been as many as 27, so five was quite a small number to go for. Even so, I enjoyed playing Electro Goals and was pleasantly surprised by how much I liked it.
