The Tumbles is a great online slot that is designed to a high standard and comes with some features that make its gameplay both unpredictable and rewarding. It’s set in prehistoric times and has excellent graphics, animations, and sound effects, along with a pretty good soundtrack that fits the theme well.

The slot used a 6x6 grid with tumbles - hence its name - taking place after every winning spin. It also had ice blocks (or stone blocks in the free spins round) that were essentially blank symbols but would disappear when next to a winning symbol during a tumble. Thanks to tumbles, I got plenty of extra wins, with multipliers giving them very welcome boosts.

There was the option to purchase the free spins round for 50x my bet. I decided to pay this cost and won 34x, which I wasn’t pleased with as I had made a loss. Since I actually liked the round and thought it had decent win potential, I decided to buy it a second time, though my payout was worse at 23x.

What I liked about free spins was that it had an increasing multiplier. This started at x1 and every multiplier that landed added to it, so the longer the round went on, the greater the multiplier and the bigger the win potential. With tumbles and scatters giving extra spins thrown into the mix, the free spins round had all the ingredients to be a rewarding feature. Unfortunately for me, it just wasn’t worth the cost.

Still, I very much enjoyed playing The Tumbles and thought it was a fun, unpredictable slot. It had some great mechanics and features, with excellent design throughout.
