Gold Bricks is a retro slot that is centered on gold. The design of the game was decent, although it’s nothing worth praising. Its backdrop features golden stripes and some patterns. The playing grid itself is set in the middle of the screen and looks like it was purposefully meant to occupy as little space as possible. I found the soundtrack fitting for the game. It sounded like a theme song for a superhero movie and kept me motivated throughout my gameplay. 

I had an easy time learning the ropes in this game. There are only 3 reels, and you have to play them all. So, the only thing you should adjust is the bet size, and to do this, you must click the ‘bet’ button at the bottom of the screen. 

I was disappointed to see that the spacebar can’t be used to spin the reels. Instead of clicking the spin button all the time, I opted to use the auto-play button. But if you pick this option, remember that you can’t add win or loss limits. If you aren’t keen, you can easily end up losing a huge chunk of your money. 

The only feature I watched out for in this slot is the wild. It comes stacked and can replace other icons, giving you more opportunities to form winning combinations. This symbol almost always  lands on the reels, so you can expect to make profits with it.   

Like many other Rival Gaming classic slots, this one doesn’t require you to perfectly match the symbols to get a payout. This mechanism helped me limit my losses in the game. I mostly matched 7s of different colors.

To sum up, Gold Bricks doesn’t have much to offer aside from the stacked wilds.
