Double Joker by Rival: Double The Jokers, Double The Hassle
Eduard Marin rated this game:
2 out of 5
I recently played Double Joker by Rival, and I can't help but express my disappointment with this game. To put it bluntly, it feels like a lackluster attempt to cash in on the popularity of video poker without putting in much effort.
I could not get past the glaring resemblance this game has with other titles from Rival. If you’ve played any of their games before, you'll notice that Double Joker feels like a carbon copy. It's like they took a generic video poker template and slapped the title "Double Joker" on it. There's nothing unique or distinctive about the gameplay.
It resembles countless other Rival video poker games. If you've played one, you've essentially played them all. It's a missed opportunity for innovation and creativity. The graphics and interface are far from impressive. The visuals are outdated and lack the polish that you'd expect from a modern online casino game. The cards and table look bland, and there's a general lack of attention to detail.
But what really irked me was the lack of excitement in the gameplay. Double Joker fails to deliver any new or interesting features. It's just standard video poker with a double joker card added to the deck. There are no bonus rounds, no special twists, nothing to set it apart from the sea of other video poker games out there.
And to make matters even worse, the payouts are not that great also. The game lacks balance in terms of payouts. Winning hands are few and far between, making it frustratingly difficult to accumulate any significant winnings. This skewed payout structure leaves players feeling like their efforts are not adequately rewarded, which is a surefire way to drive them away.
Needless to say more… Double Joker by Rival is a disappointing and uninspired addition to the world of online video poker. Its lack of originality, outdated graphics, absence of engaging features, and imbalanced payouts make it a game that fails to stand out in a crowded market.
- Jokers act as Wilds
- Monotonous gameplay
- Dated graphics
- Low payouts
- No extra features
