Sensational Sixes: A Timeless Twist on Classic Slots

Sensational Sixes is a classic slot with a slick design. I noticed that the game doesn’t try to come off as an old-school slot; it definitely doesn’t look like it would fit in a 70s casino. But I still enjoyed the simplicity of the game. It features a black background with nice wavy patterns. Unlike regular classic slots, this one uses card suits as the main symbols. There’s also a BAR symbol, which is the lowest-paying in the game.  

Sensational Sixes has a piano soundtrack, and I found this quite fitting for the game theme. 

The game has three wild symbols, all of which are labeled with multipliers (2X, 4X, and 6X). I was able to land the wild symbols many times, and they were almost entirely responsible for all my big wins. Whenever a wild symbol completes a winning combination, the game will multiply your reward by the multiplier listed on the wild symbol. For example, with a 6X wild card, the prize will be multiplied by 6. 

And that’s not all. The same wild symbols also double up as scatters. This only means a single symbol can pay out when it appears on the reels. But don’t get too excited - the game doesn’t have any bonus spins or mini-game. 

Something else I liked about the game is the fact that you don’t necessarily need to line up three matching symbols to get a payout. Any three card suits will earn you a 0.5X payout. And three scatters will get you a 500X reward. I found it close to impossible to line up three scatters, but getting them individually was quite common. 

To sum up, Sensational Sixes is a beautifully-designed classic slot that is quite dynamic. I was able to make big wins frequently thanks to the wild symbols of the game.
