Thunderbird takes us to the magical world of native Americans. The game uses bright colors heavily. Its background features lots of blue and purple colors, and it seems like the heavens are opening up deep in the background. I especially liked how the reels are transparent as this gives you a good view of the amazing artwork. The traditional American tune playing throughout the game further helped to make the game immersive. 

I was impressed with how simple Thunderbird was to play. You’ll first have to choose your bet size, after which you can spin the reels. Note that you can’t use the spacebar to spin the reels. A simpler method would be to turn on the auto-play function (can automate up to 99 spins). 

The standout feature of this game is the free spins bonus. You can get 10, 20, or 50 free spins at a time depending on the number of scatters that land on the reels. It’s worth noting that I was able to score the free spins bonus many times in my gameplay. 

What I liked about the free spins bonus was that it comes with wilds that expand to cover entire reels. And any time you make a winning combination with the wild card, you’ll get a 2X multiplier on the reward. Keep in mind that the wild symbol practically lived on the reels during my gameplay, both during the base game and bonus rounds. 

Unfortunately, Thunderbird doesn’t have a bonus mini-game.

To sum up, I found this game fun and lucrative. It has a profitable free spins bonus that comes with expanding wilds. The fact that the wilds have a 2X multiplier made the bonus round highly profitable. I also appreciated the high-quality artwork and fitting soundtrack of the game.
