This game is set in a barn with a red and white gate. On the sides of the reels, there are rotating wind vanes or windcocks. Wind almost constantly blows through the farm, and this actually has an impact on the game (more on this later). While the artwork is amazing, I found the soundtrack confusing. It almost sounds like it was meant to be used in a superhero-themed slot. That said, you’ll still be treated to farm sound effects, like the sound of chicken clucking and wind blowing. 

I found the choice of symbols in this game interesting. The ones you should look out for the most are the angry-looking cow (scatter), the chicken (wild), a horseshoe, a pig, and a goat. You’ll also find the standard poker card symbols. 

I noticed that the wild symbol comes around in most spins, and it has a nice animation with the chicken sticking out of the reels. If it’s a windy day, the wild will expand upwards. On calm days, it will expand downwards. And that’s not all. Winnings completed with the wild gain a 2X multiplier. The expanding wild made it easier for me to make multiple wins in the game. Keep in mind that the scatter is the only symbol that can’t be replaced with the wild. 

I was also impressed with the free spins bonus of the Windy Farm slot. I was able to get the 7 free spins frequently, but note that there are no multipliers included here. However, there’s an instant payout offered even before the free spins rounds start. 

To sum up, Windy Farm is a nice-looking slot with a barn theme. Its soundtrack may not be the best, but it makes up for this with farm-like sound effects. I was impressed with how frequently the free spins were granted. The expanding wild card also helped me make many winning combinations.
