The Royals floated on the yellow lotus, which appeared on its own throughout the base game, but together they still pushed most of my wins into the 1x to 4x range. A few hits even climbed as high as 5x my bet with royals alone.

That pattern held surprisingly well until three Scatter sorcerers appeared on the first three reels and opened the Free Game. You can choose between fewer spins with more Wilds loaded in, or more spins with fewer.

Four spins get 188 red lotuses, seven get 128 blue, and ten get 88 green, all replacing the base game's golden Wild and distributed across reels 2 through 5. I picked four.

The grid caught fire, and Ne Zha evolved into her blazing true form as red lotus Wilds filled the reels over four spins. The round closed at just under 29x my bet, which, for that density of Wilds, felt like it should have been at least twice as strong.

Four spins leave little room for error, but the feature retriggers if three more Scatters show up, adding the same number again. In case that feature didn’t trigger naturally, I would definitely try investing 50x the base bet to experience that round anyway, and you can do it too.

Overall, the myth deserved a stronger session from me, but the presentation and the Free Spins choice make this one worth exploring.
