Book of Myth by Spadegaming: Just Another “Book of…” Slot?

You are not a respectable online slot games provider if you don’t have in your portfolio a “Book of…” game. So Spadegaming couldn’t miss out on the trend, and they offered us the Book of Myth slot game. To be honest, it is just another online slot with the same Egyptian theme, and pretty much the same everything as all the others. But, I didn’t flinch when I needed to play it in order to give you this short review. 

So, as we established already, the Book of Myth follows in the footsteps of others before, bringing to your attention an Egyptian theme and a fairly basic gameplay. I gotta hand it to Spadegaming though, the graphics are gorgeous and the animations are a nice touch, as well as the soundtrack. On the other hand, in the Features department, we get some basic by now Free Spins, but with a twist. During the free spins bonus round, a special expanding symbol is randomly chosen at the start of the feature. Whenever this symbol lands on the reels, it will expand to cover the entire reel, potentially leading to massive payouts. Potentially is the word to focus on, because the potential is there but the actual big win is kind of elusive. Other than this, we can spot a Buy Feature and that’s pretty much it. Another let down is the fact that the Gamble, a staple feature of every Book of… slot, is missing in action. So, you gotta make do with only basic features.

Overall, the Book of Myth online slot game is, in my opinion, just another “Book of…” slot game, with nothing spectacular or groundbreaking to differentiate it from the other in the pack. Granted, the graphics and soundtrack is good, but that’s just not enough if you want to go to the top in this domain. But, if you’re a fan of Egyptian themed slots, this game definitely can keep you entertained, and potentially get you some good prizes.

Tip to Win: Play the game on 20 credits. I saw that this is by far the best bet. Or, you can try the Buy Feature option, which seems to be pretty productive.
