Triple Star Deluxe: Diversity Is Part of the Experience

After playing many similar games, I can say Triple Star Deluxe is situated somewhere between the good and bad  ratings. On one hand, it offers some interesting features and mechanics, but at the same time, the visuals are not exactly my cup of tea. Although I like a more minimalistic approach when it comes to simple games like this, Triple Star Deluxe exaggerated in some aspects.

Starting off with the obvious, the graphics. While they are simple and crisp, I don’t quite like how the game looks. A nice feature here is the ability to choose from up to 4 card designs, two of them are not even cards. They’re numbers and balls. At least the interface is clean and all the important buttons are displayed clearly. 

Now, speaking about the gameplay aspect, there are some nice amenities, like a good range of bet values, an autoplay function that takes advantage of the auto hold feature, and some interesting bonus multipliers that come in play when a specific card hand has been achieved. If you manage to get over the visuals, there’s some fun and excitement to be had.

During my gameplay session, I can’t say I scored many huge wins, but at the same time, I wasn’t dipping under my initial balance that often. Of course luck plays a big part in a game like this, but if you know your poker hands and how to use the hold function efficiently, there are some big winnings to be had. At the end of the day, I give the game an average score, because while it offers some unique features, there are some aspects of it that could have been improved.
